The quaint Victorian Square downtown area is absolutely gorgeous and offers history, art, great restaurants, pubs, shopping spots, fine boutiques, outdoor events and festivals. Almost every weekend there is something fun going on at the Victorian Square plaza, from art shows, holiday celebrations, food and culture festivals, live music, farmers markets and much, much more. A popular festival is the joyful Cinco de Mayo Festival. For a fun and safe festival for the kids, check out Pumpkin Palooza! Love folk music? You’ll love the annual Ukulele Festival which takes place in May. This fantastic musical extravaganza, featuring the tiny but mighty ukulele, is considered the premiere “uke” festival of the West.

Dean was truly fantastic. This trip was for our engagement celebration, and he really made it special. He was such a great host, picking us up from our hotel, walking us through the van, answering all our questions, and then dropping us back off at the airport at the end of the trip. The van was spotless and fully stocked, and we had soooo much fun on our big California adventure. Whether you are renting, or considering building out a van, I cannot recommend Dean enough.
