Encompassing 941 acres of natural beauty and unique geological formations, Fillmore Glen State Park is nestled in the Finger Lakes region in New York. As the name suggests, the park is characterized by a scenic wooded glen dotted with multiple waterfalls that attract those with an RV, hikers, and photographers. Located just a stones throw away from Moravia, you could also bring your RV to Ithaca or Auburn. When you camp at Fillmore Glen State Park, you will discover that the Owasso Lake Inlet, a major tributary of Owasco Lake, is popular with anglers. Brown trout and rainbow trout are regularly stocked. Largemouth bass, black crappie, and northern pike are plentiful.

Remember to pack your skis in your campervan rental during winter to enjoy cross-country skiing and explore the narrow gorge. Snowmobiling is also a popular winter sport at Fillmore Glen State Park. For history, lovers are sure to check a replica of a log cabin where president Millard was born.

Sitting on five acres of land, this is a cool place to explore the forested scenic gorge and a series of other smaller cascades. For those into state parks, there are many beautiful parks about a one hour drive from Fillmore Glen State Park. The 141-acre Cayuga Lake State Park on the shores of Cayuga Lake provides excellent opportunities for fishing, hiking, and picnicking swimming. In addition, there are lake view campsites where overnight guests can camp with their RV rentals. About 24 miles away Buttermilk Falls State Park in Ithaca is a great place to see the intriguing waterfalls, wetlands, and a natural pool. Taughannock Falls State Park is approximately 30 miles from Fillmore Glen State Park and is equally appealing to RVers.
