The campground provides outhouses and firewood for sale. RV sites do not have electricity but do have picnic tables and fire pits.

Exploring the City

The Saranac Laboratory Museum, which you can visit when you rent a motorhome in Saranac Lake, chronicles the village’s unique history as a tuberculosis treatment destination. Displays and exhibits focus on local history, science, patient care, and more. There are also rotating exhibits that go into greater depth. Tours are available, and the museum gift shop carries a wide variety of books on local history as well as souvenirs.
