5.0I took the van to a weekend baseball tournament with my kid and I had a great experience with the vehicle. It was perfect for a two day trip. Curtis had everything ready to go upon pickup. He explained in detail about how it functioned and provided an info sheet that was a great help. The van had many amenities including a bathroom with a shower, a sink, a refrigerator, and a comfortable bed (we didn't use the roof bed). There was plenty of storage for this over packer, as well. The return process was quick and easy.

How many miles are included, and what happens if I go over?

160 miles per day are included, which covers most Southern California and Sierra trips comfortably. Round trip from Oceanside: Joshua Tree is about 300 miles, Death Valley or Sequoia about 600, Mammoth about 750, Yosemite about 850. Additional miles are $0.45 each, billed after the trip. Message me before you book if you want help checking your route against the allowance.

Can I run the air conditioning while boondocking?
A.
No. The rooftop AC requires shore power. Everything else, including the fridge, lights, fans, water pump, and Truma furnace, runs off the battery and solar. For inland or desert trips in summer, book campsites with electric hookups. From October through April this is rarely an issue.

It's a cassette toilet, meaning a removable 5-gallon tank instead of a black tank. Empty it yourself at any dump station or restroom at no charge, or add the Dump & Sanitize Service at checkout and I'll handle it. Most guests add the service. RV-safe toilet paper only, and it's provided.
