Kenisee's Grand River Campground

Geneva is about halfway between Cleveland and the Pennsylvania border, making it one of the most convenient places to stay when you’re motorhome camping in northern Ohio. Geneva’s biggest export is grapes, which are grown in abundance thanks to the rich Great Lakes soil and moderate climate. If you have the chance, go book a Geneva motorhome rental in September during the Grape Jamboree, which features parades, amusement park rides, live music, and, of course, delicious grape-based street foods. If you enjoy a quality vino, then you will love RV camping in northeast Ohio. The Geneva area has several excellent wineries serving up unique varieties sourced from local grapes. Most of the wineries offer tours and tastings, so you not only learn how it’s made but have the chance to sample it before making your purchase. Be sure to bring a couple of bottles home. Exceptional wine isn’t the only thing that Geneva has to offer, though; race fans will love a trip to the Lake County Speedway in nearby Painesville. It’s NASCAR’s smallest racetrack, which means there’s never a shortage of fast-paced action. The big races are run in a loop, but the track also does figure-eight races to add even more twists and turns to the fun. To really get the adrenaline pumping, visit during the week when the track offers public go-kart rentals. While the Upper Midwest was built by freighters on the Great Lakes and its accompanying canals, the influence of the railroad should not be understated. To learn more about this fascinating chapter in the region’s history, check out the Railroad Museum in Painesville. The beautifully restored depot has some fascinating exhibits, including a large steam engine on its front lawn. Lake views, lengthy trails, and lots of culture are in store when you book an RV rental in Geneva, OH. Search for a rig today and start planning your visit.
