Onboard generator was broken before pickup, but owner provided a secondary generator and we didn’t have any issues with power. The RV was great!

I rented an RV from RV Family Adventures a couple of weeks ago. Let’s start with the good:
1) Maria provided very quick responses and answers to all my questions. Professional at all time.
2) RV was clean (other than the seats) and ready upon pickup.
3) Walk-through was very thorough, but could have included an instruction package due to the breadth of information covered. But adequate.

Communication was great, however do not take their low nightly rates as being “fair priced”. We spent the weekend in Alpine and with 150 per night mileage rate from Mesa “sounds” like enough mileage it is not. The mileage usage fee is deducted from the time you leave their property. We live in Mesa so 120 miles was wasted just to and from their property to ours.
We rented for three nights, $537 ($179 a night)sounds like a good price, however after all of their added fees and mileage charges we paid just under $1038 for THREE nights. This works out to about $346 a night! We did pay for cleaning and dumping of grey water, however I feel as though we returned the RV cleaner on the inside then we received it! There we foot prints and finger prints on windows throughout the RV and during a pandemic, one would expect ALL areas to be thoroughly cleaned between use! Don’t waste your money on the “extra quiet generator”, no where close to quiet, or the propane campfire, you would literally have to sit on the fire to feel the warmth. Purchase your own portable propane fire ring for better investment during red flag warnings. This was also a test run to see if we would like to purchase an rv or trailer...... for a 2019, definitely not worth the investment. Hinges were loose, windows rattled open while driving, face plates fell off of outlets before reaching our destination, countertops lifting on countertops, the list is never-ending. We will for 1, not rent again from them and 2 spend $90k instead on land somewhere that appreciates value instead of depreciation.

The reservation for this Class C Motorhome was made in February for a trip in September.
A month in advance, we reached out to the owner as we noticed the RV was no longer
listed on Outdoorsy but our reservation was still active. The owner, Keith Coddingham did not reply to emails. A voice mail was also left on his phone. We contacted Outdoorsy on two occasions. Outdoorsy had also reached out to the owner on our behalf but was unable to make contact with the owner. Needless to say, we had to cancel our reservation and find another Motorhome to rent. Unfortunately, we ended making another reservation for something more expensive and much farther from our home
on short notice. We would like to see at minimum when an owner removes a rental from the website, that Outdoorsy at least contacts individuals with reservations. Too bad the owner of this Motorhome did not act in a more professional manner and should be banned from future listings on Outdoorsy. It is also unfortunate that Outdoorsy did not offer any type of compensation on a new listing given the flaw in their policy for Owners.
BE CAREFUL you could be without a rental and not even know it!!
