Flying to Arizona? Caspar is 25min (~$40 Uber) from PHX airport, plus there is a Target down the street!Brand spanking new, professionally built by Dave & Matt Vans (Google them!). Best for 1-4 travelers on a multi-day campground/BLM tour, Caspar is easy to drive and operate. The cabin heater will keep you warm during cold desert nights!After a quick walkthrough, you'll be on the road and have all the tools necessary to be off-grid (toilet not included). Kevin's - Casper, is Indeed the friendliest Van you can rent!!
My Wife and I made a last minute plan to head to Sedona, and stay at an RV camp site and give our 4 year old his first Camper Van experience!
Casper met our needs perfectly, it has all the essentials and amenities for a quick getaway - Heating that runs of the Gas, A Lithium-ion Battery pack that's Solar charged, a handy Kitchenette - with an induction stove, kettle and pots & pans. Also, neatly packed away, are a set of foldable picnic chairs.
There are two forward facing passenger seats in the rear, these were very helpful for us as we could secure our 4 year old in a car seat and sit beside him whenever he was wanting a bit of a chat.
Besides the Van, Kevin was very patient with us! When we got to his place, we realized that Outdoorsy security deposit had not gone through because of Credit Card glitch - he waited patiently till we sorted it out with Outdoorsy.
Overall - Casper was a charm for the two days that we had him!

Kevin was an incredible host - so communicative and helpful, both before the trip and after, and the van had everything! Casper made the trip so memorable and if I’m back in Arizona I’ll definitely try to get Casper again!

Great van! Easy to drive and everything was in working order. Kevin picked me up and dropped me at the airport and I was glad to pay the very reasonable fee. He was so quick to reply to my first inquiry, and was a great communicator throughout the whole experience. I recommend him and his van 100%.

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
There will be a renters guide in the van. You will also have a walkthrough of the vehicle before you leave. Generally things are simple and intuitive.
Q.What do I do with my car?
A.
You can park your car in Caspar's parking space! (If you have a large vehicle or truck please confirm in advance)
Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Standard pick-up / drop-off is noon, but can be flexible on request.
