Skout also loves to stay on Coconino Rim Road on the south rim of the Grand Canyon. Skout also loves Zion National Park and Durango, Colorado! Other things to noteWe love Skout, and want to keep him in adventure-ready condition, so please follow these important guidelines, or we will need to charge a minimum $250 fee for repairs or cleanup.- Skout is tall - he is 7ft 6in with the tent in the closed position. Please always consider his height when parking, entering a building or tunnel that has a height requirement, or before you pop his tent up. By the way, he will not go into most shopping mall parking garages.- No smoking, vaping, drinking, drugs or partying in Skout (including his tent!). Keep it legal. (Remember, Outdoorsy prohibits guests, their passengers, and vehicle hosts from smoking in any car on the Outdoorsy marketplace.)- Please do not place food or drinks inside Skout that would stain him.- No pets in Skout.** - Keep Skout on paved, low-impact roads, and semi-primitive roads. We had an amazing experience renting Skout for a long weekend trip to Northern AZ. Chris and family were amazing hosts: they provided timely communication, flexibility with our travel schedule, and clear expectations for the trip. Skout was even better equipped than we expected (full bedding, cooking utensils and dishes, towels, flashlights, camping chairs and tables, cleaning supplies). The tent takes literally seconds to set up/pack up, is extremely comfortable and kept us dry and sleeping well even during three rainy nights. The optional add-on fridge is spacious, runs fully on solar and is a life saver in the summer heat. Skout happily drives at highway speeds but can also take you through gravel roads. We will definitely rent again if visiting the area and would strongly recommend renting Skout from Chris!!!
