Review summary
Accommodating and highly responsive
Rico and staff are highly accommodating, adjusting for flight delays and trip extensions. They provide thorough explanations during pickup and are very responsive to questions, even offering airport drop-off, making the process smooth.
Drives easily, well-equipped
The Eurovan is easy to drive, with good acceleration and surprising gas mileage for its age. It's well-equipped with effective heating, comfortable bedding, and kitchen supplies. Some minor issues noted were a noisy refrigerator, finicky Bluetooth, and occasional check engine light without problems.

4.0Customer service was excellent from start to finish. I especially loved how easy the pickup process was—flying into Portland (PDX), hopping on the light rail, getting off on 82nd Street just a few stops away, and walking to the office made everything incredibly convenient. The van itself was great overall. It drove well, had good acceleration, and the beds were comfortable with excellent bedding. It took a little time to figure out the radio—you need to switch to Bluetooth audio to connect your phone (for Spotify, etc.), and sometimes toggle it off and on to get it to recognize—but once set up, it worked fine. There were a couple of downsides worth noting. The check engine light was on, which wasn’t ideal and made me a bit concerned about reliability, although we didn’t end up having any issues. The refrigerator also made a persistent clicking noise, which was disruptive enough that I had to use headphones with white noise to sleep. On the equipment side, I’d suggest replacing the Teflon pan with a stainless steel skillet and including a steel wool scrubber instead. That said, I really appreciated all the provided supplies—especially the sponge, Dawn dish soap, and hand towels—which made cleanup easy and convenient. Overall, despite a few minor issues, we had a great experience and a fantastic trip. I would definitely rent again, and might even upgrade to a Sprinter van next time.

5.0The van was wonderful for my trip. I bought a couple of small things to make it suit me. Coming from Australia I hadn’t realised the need for heating when off grid in this part of the world and I’m grateful this van had that capability. It was sturdy, easy to drive. Rico was easily communicable when I had questions about a flat tyre, how to refill propane or charging components. Rental was clear, what I got was what I signed up for, and I’d recommend this van for those on a budget that excludes a van with a toilet/indoor shower.

5.0Every single thing about this experience was amazing, from the first phone call for more information to the final drop off. We loved the van so much it was hard to give it back! Also, SUPER convenient location to the airport (15 minute Uber). Highly recommend!
