Meet your host, Jura

Member since 2021

We are a family of road tripping adVANturers. My son and I have spent lots of time searching out our next favorite spot in the PNW. We used to explore in our truck and have spent a lot of time backpacking as we like to get away from the crowd. Late last summer we bought the van after years of dreaming about doing a van build. I'm an ER nurse and so I spent the winter months build the van and staying in a happy space when not at work. I'm excited to talk with people about building out a van, so if you are considering doing so I'm happy to talk about what I have learned and what I would do differently. Dylan is off to college this fall and so we are going to rent out our adVANture mobile to supplement his college tuition. I built the van so he at 6'5" could stand up without issue. I can't wait to meet you and learn about all the great spots you find to adVANture.

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
I like to establish a time frame with the individual renter. I do like to keep to the time frame as I plan the other events of my day around it.

Q.Returning the Van
A.
On return day: I try to communicate with the renter regarding the timing of their return priot to their departure, so we both have an idea. The van does need to be returned by 5pm as to not incur late charges and to allow for cleaning and preparation for the next renter.

Q.Picking up the van
A.
Picking up the van entails approximately 45 minutes of reviewing and learning how to use and drive the van along with signing contracts.
