Highly responsive, problem-solving team
The team mailed back a forgotten item, accommodated pickup/drop-off times, and resolved a power issue quickly. Guests found check-in/out easy and staff very helpful and responsive to questions.
Drives well, mostly well-appointed
The van drives well and includes a comfortable king-sized bed, functional toilet, stove, and well-stocked kitchenware. However, it has issues like a child-only pop-up bed, poor car seat compatibility, broken table, ripped screen, and past propane/solar charging problems.

5.0Loved our trip!!! The van was so well stocked, we had everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable..slept better than we do at home. Such a fun experience and a beautiful way to spend 10 days exploring Oregon!

5.0Great experience. Van was great for the 3 of us. Great customer service, mailed back an item left behind at the end of the trip.

5.0What a wonderful adventure! - made possible by the great guys at Road Trip Oregon! - and their wonderful vehicles! Each time I’ve rented from them over the last 3 years - I’ve been more than satisfied, thrilled!, with the camper van I’ve rented! Their service too is remarkable - each van has been completely well appointed with all the items I could have possibly needed. Check-in andcheck-out were extremely user friendly as well! Can’t wait for my next Oregon Road Trip!

4.0Our family of 4 had a fun long weekend with Thor! We spent most of our time outside and didn't use all the features, but what we did make use of worked reliably. Rico, our contact in the office, was easy to communicate with and accommodated our pickup and drop off times nicely. The interior bed is truly king-sized and comfortable! This worked out well for us as we all fit there and slept well together. We tried to use the pop-up bed, but that mattress seems only fit for school-aged kids to very young adults - think Japanese floor mat over cross rails. Our kids would have slept just fine up there, but as they are only two and four years old we worried about them falling down the ladder access in the night. One thing to note is that only one set of bedding is included in the rental, so if you need more that two pillows and one duvet, you will need to select the extra bedding add-on. The toilet worked well and was great to have available for night time and early morning needs. With two young kids and a very pregnant mom, it was super handy to have immediate access to a functioning flusher! We did not use the sink or shower during our trip. The stove fired up nicely for coffee and hot chocolate every morning. The provided kettle and mugs/travel cups were all we needed! That was the extent of our "cooking" in Thor. The fridge also worked very well to keep our drinks nice and cold. However, it did have a funky smell going on, making it unpleasant to open so we kept that to a minimum. We let Rico know about the fridge smell at drop off and trust that it will be taken care of before Thor's next adventure. One issue we did find was that the bench seat and seat belts are not designed for the use of modern car seats. There are no latch or tether anchors, and the seat belts are a bit old-school: they do not lock in place after being fully extended, and only hold tension momentarily when jerked. We just had to trust that this mechanism would work properly in the case of an accident. After some trial and error, we found what seemed to be the best way to secure the car seats in place: lace the tether strap through the headrest bars of the seat the car seat is placed on and anchor it tightly to a headrest bar of the other seat. This method (along with regular use of the provided seat belts) kept the car seats from leaning around bends and corners so our kids weren't sliding around. Overall, we had a good experience with Thor and would rent from Road Trip Oregon again.

5.0The van was comfortable drove well and had all the necessary equipment. There was an issue with power that was of our own making and the team quickly helped us resolve it so that we are back online within 40 minutes. Thanks for the memorable trip.

2.0no propane for trip due to faulty supply line. Had to bring our own propane and burner. Van did not charge batteries with solar panel rendering van useless after power depleted in just 1 day. Multiple issues with side screen opening and closing, visible rips to screen. Paper towels found behind stovetop which we were lucky we could not use as a fire may have happened. Very disappointed.
