Thank you Jonathen, you and your son took great care of our rig and we appreciate the extra effort you put in to bring it back so clean!

I sincerely appreciate the amount of instructions & directions given to me by Bowman & Heather before my family trip even began. They are very generous with their time & their knowledge of the RV. I learned a lot, and I taught my 8-year-old son during our trip because he was curious and also my main co-pilot. Not only did I feel comfortable in their exceptionally clean RV, I felt supported during the entire trip. They are quick to respond to questions, should any concerns arise during your trip. Extra bonus points to Bowman & Heather, who know what it takes to travel with little children. I recommend taking notes. I recorded the instructions on my phone, so that if I forgot anything, I could listen later. I ended up listening to the recording twice, so it was a good idea. This was a very sweet, 3-generation family vacation for me. I traveled with my 8-year-old, my 1-year-old, and my 77-year-old mother. We had an awesome time! Thank you!

DO NOT RENT! We’ve been camping many times, usually with additional family and decide we needed some more room so we wanted to rent an RV. When picking up the RV we asked about the leveling and the owner said “most camp grounds are flat, and it has automatic leveling “ if we didn’t think we would need leveling we wouldn’t have asked. After many hours spent reading the manual we came to find out that the RV in fact does NOT have self leveling and they had no leveling blocks provided. Therefore we spent our entire trip sleeping/cooking at a slant which was very frustrating. When your paying that amount of money you would think they would provide the appropriate equipment. There is also something clearly wrong with thier wiring system as we were told “you have to push the emergency start to get the slide out to open” seems like the wiring is all bad, the tank gauges were all out of wack, the solar battery panel screeched for hours while driving. It was overall a very bad experience. I tired to reach out to the owners before posting this review and to say she was rude is an understatement. She tried to say “ you should have called, which seems useless unless she was going to drive leveling blocks to us 2 hours away. Long story short, I would highly suggest not renting from them, I’m sure she will reply with all the things they did to “help” but clearly that’s not true.
Heather’s answer
We’re sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy your trip. Before your rental, we asked where you’d be camping, and you confirmed you’d be at a campground where leveling would not be necessary. We also provided our personal cell phone number and encouraged you several times to call with any questions or concerns during your trip. Dry camping can be challenging, but you mentioned you’d been doing it for years and had a lot of experience, so we trusted you were comfortable with setup, including dumping the tanks—unfortunately, this was not done correctly. At no point did you reach out while traveling to let us know about any of the issues you’ve described here, and we would have gladly helped troubleshoot. We had already given you a discount and a free extra day as a courtesy. It’s disappointing to receive this review when the primary reason appears to be that we couldn’t offer another discount afterward. We care deeply for our RV and work hard to ensure our renters have a great experience.

Loads of instructions, HIGHLY recommend that you write everything down, take pictures, etc. especially if you’re in charge or everything. This was my first time being the adult in charge with anRV trip, and the owners were really responsive when I had questions. There’s an emergency shut off switch by the steering wheel that you have to switch off/on randomly as you drive when the “parking brake engaged” light comes on, or to extend the side… so don’t forget it! Also, do your silverware inventory in case any forks walk off. I’d prefer to just pack my own stuff though I appreciate the thought. Adhesive on the bottom of a cushion melted off and caused some extra stickiness that was a little annoying, which is out of the owner’s control of course. Though Despite the weird electrical emergency switch and other little nuances of traveling with a family, it was a good ride.
