RecommendationsThe Alpine is perfectly at home in the forest, desert, mountain, or beach. Luckily, we are centrally located near all of these! The van is located mere minutes from the pristine beaches of La Jolla, Del Mar, Cardiff, Solana Beach, Encinitas, and Carlsbad. Looking to escape to the forest? Head out to Big Bear or any of the campsites available in the Cleveland National Forest, Cuyamaca Rancho State Park, or the foothills of Palomar Mountain.California boasts NINE national parks (more than any other state) waiting to be explored! Head inland a few hours east to Joshua Tree to take in its otherworldly charm and dynamic flora, or take a road trip up north to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National parks to visit the largest trees in the world. For longer trips, consider taking the Alpine up to NorCal to see the redwood forests, or make the trek out to the Grand Canyon or even Utah's National Parks such as Zion and Bryce Canyon.Other things to noteRules and policies standard to Outdoorsy/insurance:
- Minimum renter age of 25
- No driving off-road

Zack & Beril were great hosts. So accommodating & informative upon pickup & available as questions surfaced throughout my trip. The van was comfortable & served my purpose to get out & go camping for a few nights!

Have a question?Get answers directly from the host

Q.Is the van suitable for tall guests?
A.
I'm 6' 1" and can stand completely vertical inside and sleep comfortably on the bed. Those much taller may need to sleep at an angle and crouch slightly inside.
