Welcome to our 1997 Damon Daybreak bio.
We purchased our RV in CT in November of 2017 and drove it to our new home in sunny Florida. Although our RV is 21 years old, it has only been driven less than 11,000 miles –at the time of me writing this-. We have lived 4 months in our RV and it was awesome. And in living in it, we took note of things we could change to make our next time in the RV more enjoyable. For now we just did simple changes, like installed 2 flat screen TV’s, bought a new memory foam antimicrobial mattress, hooked up a free air tv antenna, installed shelving in cabinets to capitalize on any free space, purchased windshield sunscreens.
We will be doing a complete gut and remodel of our RV in June of 2018-hopefully it will be ready for rental again in July of 2018.This sleeps 5 people. The kitchen sink has 2 sinks which are very useful. The oven, stove and microwave are practically brand new. The refrigerator and freezer are standard size for an RV. The bathroom area is my favorite part about our RV. The toilet is in its OWN space, while the sink and shower are separate making it very easy 2 people to get ready at once. In some RV’s the toilet and sink are in the same room, or even worse the toilet, sink and shower are in the same room meaning that only one person at a time can use the area.
All the mechanics of this RV are in tip top shape. My husband is a licensed mechanic and licensed carpenter with the knowledge and ability to do electrical and plumbing – he’s wonderful!! Should anything go wrong or start “acting different” it is repaired immediately.
We have included lots of amenities to improve your time in our RV. Like linens, beddings, towels, plates, silverware, pots & pans, coffee maker, crock pot, electric griddle, waffle maker, sandwich maker, quesadilla maker, ice trays, toilet paper, cleaners, paper towels, small fans-the RV has A/C but sometimes a fan is nice, small space heater-again, we have a working furnace but sometimes a small space heater is nice, small bulb (Christmas lights) outside lighting, outdoor awning, mosquito netting to attach to awning giving you a usable outdoor space, outdoor chairs, outdoor carpet, temporary clothesline.
Dogs are allowed-however there will be an additional 300.00 deposit required should you want to bring your dog.
You are required to wash , dry, fold and put away all your linens, but if you would rather not spend your last day of your vacation at the laundry mat and cleaning out the RV, you can pay an additional $155.00 and I will wash your used linens and do a simple/basic clean out of the RV.
Sometimes it’s difficult to bring a huge RV to a shopping center, so as a courtesy to our renters, should you decide, I will go grocery shopping from a list that you provide and stock the RV with anything you would like. The renter will need to pay for the grocery bill, but there is no charge for me to shop, unpack and stock your items in the RV.We understand that your time is very valuable, and we want you to have the best vacation in our RV. Happy Camping!!
