Discover Mesquite RV rentals for memorable road trips

Although the city of Mesquite is considered to be a suburb of Dallas, it happens to rank among the largest and most populous cities in all of Texas. This incredible city was first founded as a railroad stop on the Texas & Pacific Railroad which connected the settlements of central Texas to southern Louisiana. Historically, Mesquite was an agrarian community and a railroad hub for transporting goods back east. After World War II, the suburban sprawl of Dallas began to creep outwards, engulfing the outlying towns and urbanizing them in the process.

Explore the Outdoors

Lost in all the hype and praise for Mesquite, is the realization that Texas is a wonderland of scenic sights and beauty. When you rent an RV in this region of Texas, you still have the option to leave the cityscapes of the Dallas metropolitan area and venture off into the more rural parts of the Lone Star State. Cedar Hill State Park is on the periphery of the metro area south of Dallas, so it can hardly be considered rural Texas. This glorious urban park sits on Joe Pool Lake, with miles of circuitous hiking and biking trails connecting throughout. There are charming boardwalks overlooking the wetlands, a pier for fishing, boat ramps, and an agricultural history center where visitors can learn about the farming techniques and old technology once used by Texas farmers. Camping is an option at Cedar Hill, so anticipate staying in your Mesquite camper rental on the shores of Joe Pool Lake.

City Sightseeing

You would be hard pressed to find a more exciting city to visit than Mesquite, especially when you take into consideration that Dallas and Fort Worth are right there too with hundreds of their own attractions. The Kenny Wallace Dirt Racing Experience is perhaps the most thrilling thing you can do in Mesquite, where you can race against your friends in decommissioned dirt racing vehicles. The track is set up and ready to go, and the cars are tuned up to give you an authentic racing experience like the professionals.

We had the most amazing time in this RV! Mary was very communicative, the unit ran great, it was a perfect size for two people, and I felt that even got decent gas mileage. We were gone for two weeks and we never had a bit of trouble.
My only recommendation is to make sure that you start the refrigerator a day before you leave so that it’s very cold when you first leave on your trip. But once it’s cold it stays there.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
Jose helped to provide an amazing experience. This was our first RV adventure, traveled from North Texas to drop our youngest child off at College in South Central Michigan. The RV was very comfortable to drive and very comfortable to sleep in. It has plenty of storage space, internal and external. The amenities were amazing, stove and refrigerator / freezer worked great. I highly recommend contacting Jose, who was very professional, kind and knowledgeable, when planning across country adventure or even just a weekend getaway. Thank you so very, very much, Jose! You have helped make this adventure, journey, and new transition in our life a wonderful time. When it comes time to visit the kid, we will most certainly be doing business with Jose again.
