Spread over 6 acres, with more than 300 species of aquatics, it's a great day out, plus there are a restaurant and bar on site. Should you happen to be RV camping in Houston in March, then make sure you check out the annual Buffalo Bayou Partnership Regatta. It's a 15-mile canoe and kayak race along the Buffalo Bayou, from San Felipe in the west to Allen's Landing in the east. The event has been taking place since 1981 and now attracts thousands of competitors. Many go for the after-race party at Allen's Landing, with music food and other entertainment.
