This state park offers many outdoor activities to do while visiting. Bear Lake State Park is considered to be in one of the most scenic areas in Utah, making it perfect for hiking. Many of the trails in the park will take hikers through the Bear Lake Valley. One trail to try out is the two-mile Limber Pine Trail, which is ideal for families and filled with wildflowers and a 560-year-old pine tree.

Exploring the Area

There are many places to take an RV rental in Rich County to for a fun day of exploring the local area. Located about an hour away in Pocatello is the Idaho Museum of Natural History. Created in 1934, the museum tells of the local anthropology, paleontology, and other life science fields. There are numerous exhibits to view, including those that inform guests of the Ice Age and Buzzsaw Sharks. The museum has some small gardens around its exterior that feature plants which are native to the area.
