Most of the park’s natural landmarks and features are named after religious terms by the first Mormons to enter Utah over a century ago. You can climb to the top of “Angels Landing” to enjoy sublime views from the park’s peaks, or hike along the river looking up at the impressive red canyons and cliffsides that surround you. Just about any park that you visit in the state of Utah is bound to impress.
