Explore the Outdoors

Utah is well known for being an outdoors paradise, with every type of extreme sport and outdoor hobby you could possibly imagine. You don’t have to be some sort of rock climber or hang glider to enjoy the serene Utah wilderness. Simply hiking and camping out in your Syracuse camper rental will do the trick just fine. There are lots of nature sanctuaries along the shores of the Great Salt Lake, but Antelope Island State Park is certainly your best bet when it comes to seeing the lake and camping out along the water’s edge. You can cycle or hike up small hills in the open grasslands to see some panoramic views of the amazing Great Salt Lake. There are campgrounds where you can stay when you need to park your Syracuse RV rental overnight, as well as swimming areas in the salty lake. One of the most enjoyable experiences you can have at the park is to witness the massive herds of bison that freely roam wherever they please.

RV Parks to Visit

There are a handful of suitable options where you can set up camp when you rent an RV in Syracuse, depending on what you need. RiverBridge RV Park is a resort up in the mountains to the east, surrounded by ski resorts, golf courses, whitewater rafting areas, and mountain biking trails.

City Sightseeing

Syracuse has its fair share of shopping centers, restaurants, wineries, bars, cafes, and stores, but it does not have many attractions like other neighboring towns and cities. This is not a problem however as most of these places blend together to form the Greater Salt Lake City area, so there is technically a lot to do when you stay in Syracuse. Hill Aerospace Museum is in the adjacent town of Ogden, and a great place to visit for people of all ages. There are nearly 100 different airplanes and jets on display at this massive aviation museum as part of the United States Air Force Heritage Program.

Good quality and comfort.

The RV was a perfect size for our visit to Yellowstone and easy to setup. It was also well stocked with cutlery, towels, kitchen/toilet roll, washing up liquid etc which was great for a short trip. The camp sites in Yellowstone don’t have hookups for power/water meaning you have to use gas - worth noting their rules surrounding generator use if you want a hot shower! Benjamin was a very accommodating host and communicated well. I would definitely book again.
