Browns Lake Campground

Located on the Newport Ranger District, Browns Lake Campground lies 25 miles northeast of Newport.  This lake is nonmotorized, flyfishing only.  Located within the campground is a historical cabin believed to have been built by the Civilian Conservation Corps. Driving directions to Browns Lake Campground

From Newport, WA:  Follow State Highway 20 north for 15 miles to the town of Usk. Cross the bridge over the Pend Oreille River on the east edge of town and follow the Kings Lake Road (County Road 3389) 4 miles to the junction of Forest Road 5030000 (Browns Lake). Do the RVs have bathrooms?

Yes. Class A’s, Class B’s, and Class C’s and five-Wheels typically have bathrooms. Depending on where you plan on camping, you’ll want to double-check the availability of restrooms if selecting a rig without a bathroom. Nervous about renting an RV with a bathroom? Owners can help show you how to clean the tank or will offer to do it for you for a fee.

How does check-in work?

A.

Once an Owner approves your RV reservation, you can coordinate a time to pick up your rig or have it delivered to your doorstep or campsite. At that point, the owner will do a key exchange with you and walk you through the RV and answer any questions you might have.
