RV rental Columbia, SC: Motorhome rentals, camper van rentals and more

About halfway between Columbia and Lexington, you can park your Columbia motorhome rental in a tree-enclosed setting at Barnyard RV Park; if you're lucky enough to be there on a weekend, they host a flea market full of interesting items. Broad River Campground, only 20 minutes from Columbia, is located in Winnsboro; Edmund RV Park and Magnolia Campground Inc. offer RV rental camping south of Columbia but still close enough to the city to commute back and forth. Those who aren't interested in commuting by public transport can park their rental RV in  Columbia at one of three Walmart stores located within the city and shop for groceries and other necessary items there.

Columbia has not one but two golf courses, where you can pretend you are on a PGA tour. Into more cerebral activities? Columbia has impressive festivals and events year round, so there is no chance of arriving here and not having something to occupy your interests. In April, there is the Artista Vista, where art galleries keep their doors open much later into the evening and even display some of their works on the sidewalk outside. April is also the time of year for the Columbia International Festival, a celebration of all things multicultural. Food and song is everywhere, and local groups even perform ethnic dances for the partygoers; play your cards right and you might even be invited to join in. Those who are interested in sampling more traditional southern food should check out the Indie Grits festival, a celebration of movies catered by food trucks that will appear out of nowhere, or the Rosewood Crawfish Festival, which supplies event goers with music and food (you guessed it, Crawfish). The Indie Grits Festival is in April, the Rosewood Crawfish Festival slightly later in May. Columbia hosts the Deckle Edge Literary Festival in February. It also hosts not one but two marathons, for those who enjoy watching others work up a good sweat. The Run Hard Columbia Marathon happens in March, and the Governor's Cup 5K and half marathon takes place in May. Who knows, you might even want to park the camper rental in Columbia and join in the 5K run and take home a t-shirt to show to family and friends.
