Hickory Creek Park is just one option when it comes to camping at Lewisville Lake. There are over 100 sites, both RV and tent, plus it has the added benefits of having multiple bathhouses, an amphitheater, boat ramp, playground, and a nature trail. Stay at Lake Park Campgrounds to be surrounded by beautiful trees, with all sites located just a short walk from the lake. Sites come with water and electric, plus there is a free dump station. Willow Grove Campground is located within Willow Grove Park and is surrounded by lovely trees for shade and also has a great beach and swim area, therefore is a good option when camping with an RV. Sites come with water and electricity, although there are some primitive sites, and overnight campers can also make use of free WiFi. There are also a few other lake RV campgrounds around the lake including Sycamore Bend Park and Pilot Knoll Campgrounds.

Camp in an RV near Fort Worth, which is also full of attractions and activities. It has a fantastic shopping and dining scene, so it could be a good place to head to on a day trip in your RV rental. For families, the Fort Worth Zoo is well worth a visit, filled with animals from all over the world. Although the zoo had humble beginnings, it is now home to more than 5000 animals. As well as being a great environment to see these creatures up close, it also provides a good job of teaching young and old about care and conservation.
