Let's start with a few questions to narrow down your options.

Situated in northern Texas, Lewisville Lake is one of the largest in the area, spanning an area of 29,000 acres with 233 miles of shoreline. The multitude of parks around the lake coupled with its size makes it a hotspot for a range of recreational activities. These include fishing, swimming, skiing, and recreational boating, to name a few. There are also plenty of places to set up camp for the night.
Lewisville Lake is on the Elm Fork of the Trinity River and is a popular place to rent an RV in Denton County. It was originally engineered in 1927 as Lake Dallas, but was expanded in the 1940s and 50s and became Lewisville Lake, and was meant to be a water source for the surrounding area, and for flood control. The lake is located very close to Lewisville, although the bigger cities of Dallas and Fort Worth are also nearby.
