The 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan is a reliable and efficient performer on the highway. A house battery powers the Dometic fridge, outlets, and lights and is charged from the van's alternator, with some additional help from a roof-top solar array. The rear seat can comfortably accommodate two people (and perhaps a smaller third). The rear pedestal table either stows in the storage compartment or can be left up to work or play while underway. Under the rear lift-gate, the well-appointed galley kitchen includes a handpump sink, single burner butane stove, Dometic 12V cooler, and a full set of cookware.In the evenings, the storage box extends into a comfortable full-sized bed, and the rooftop tent raises to accommodate two more with a view of the night sky. The van provides all of the basics to get out on the road and choose your own route without being beholden to a route or schedule. 1) Passengers in a Vander camper shall not exceed the number of seatbelts designated in the listing. For example, the Cascade camper is designed for two people, who must travel in the front seats wearing seatbelts. The rear bench is not equipped with DOT-approved safety belts, and cannot be used while the vehicle is in motion.
