DealerWe started Vander to provide people in the DC area affordable access to outdoors equipment and gear, without having to invest in purchasing, storing, and maintaining their own equipment. We strive to offer our customers an easy and low-stress solution to get out and seek their own adventures.
Escape the stresses of daily life in a 2020 Cascade Camper, converted from a RAM ProMaster City van. This campervan is compact, but versatile, embracing a minimalist approach to shelter and comfort without distracting from your adventure. It is compact and can go most anywhere with great gas mileage, up to 28 mpg highway. It is a safe pod for long roadtrips, base camp for a brewery/winery visit, or the venue for a quiet weekend in the outdoors away from cell phones and cable news.
The priority is to RELAX and HAVE FUN during your Vander rental. That said, there are some hard and fast rules to guarantee your safety and the enjoyment of future Vander adventurers. Violations of these rules are subject to additional charges against your method of payment, or withholding of the security deposit.

I had an incredible 2 day experience. Justin was very accommodating and made the whole process very smooth and easy. 10/10 would do it again! Thank you Justin!

This van is great. It was super easy to drive, and it had plenty of space for two people. We camped in a park, but you could park this literally anywhere, and nobody would know it's not a work van.

This camper van was perfect for our weekend exploring the Chesapeake Bay and Eastern Shore. We’re avid campers and have all the gear, but rarely go this time of year because weather is unpredictable and most tent sites are closed. This allowed us to camp at a different place each night, to spontaneously nap in the afternoon, and to wake up to amazing sunrises (with hot chocolate). Also, normal back country camping has become difficult for older arthritic dog — but she loved this camper van!
