There is also one double-lane public boat launch ramp, found not far from the park marina, which makes accessing the water a breeze. Do take note that water skiing and jet skiing are not permitted on the lake.

Lake Fort Smith State Park’s upgrade in 2008 bought with it a modern campground, suitable for anyone traveling with an RV rental. The campsite boasts thirty pitches, twenty of which enjoy full hookups, while the remaining ten have access to water and electricity. Situated just a stone’s throw away from the marina, campers can enjoy prime access to the man-made swimming pool, hiking trails, and the main event, Lake Fort Smith itself. As one of the area’s most popular campsites, book ahead of your visit to make sure there’s a space for you!

Awesome place to rent. We had great time! Would rent again. They provide detail instructions about the RV or travel trailer. Before renting it out. The tour really helps for first timers and also experienced campers as every camper is different.
