Explore the Outdoors
One of Carmichael’s many selling points is its illustrious park system that maintains a collection of wonderful public spaces and parkways. Carmichael Park, for instance, has several ball fields, some baseball diamonds, tennis courts, and a disc golf course. Ancil Hoffman Park is a larger park with nature trails and its own golf course located inside. Ancil Hoffman Park is part of the American River Parkway, a collection of bike trails and parks that make up a greater recreation corridor for people to use.

Carmichael is full of campgrounds and RV parks, with an especially large concentration in Sacramento. Capitol West RV Park, for instance, is a pet-friendly park with large concrete trailer spots accommodating even the largest RVs. The sites are full hookup and guests can use the Wi-Fi and laundry facilities.
Around Town
This happening little suburb of Sacramento benefits from its proximity to the state capital, as well as a handful of stellar attractions in the Greater Sacramento area. Carmichael Park is known for its year-round farmers market that can be a great way to meet people and get a feel for the town. Chautauqua Playhouse is a small, intimate theater which constantly hosts stage productions, stand-up comedy, and even musical performances. The bite-sized venue allows for a personal experience where the expressions of the actors can be seen from every seat in the house. Jensen Botanical Garden is a hugely popular place to unwind and relax in the heart of Carmichael. This tranquil retreat has countless species of exotic flowers making it a photographer’s dream.

We were amazed at how well organized this vehicle is! They designed it with a lot of attention to detail, and it was really easy to live in it. It drives well so we had no problem maneuvering through camping areas and the water tank and batteries made it a breeze to find overnight spots pretty much anywhere.
James obviously takes great care of the vehicle, we had no problems whatsoever. I recommend watching his video--it really helps you take full advantage of all the features. Also, the flexibility on the pickup/dropoff times really made it easy to start and end the trip.
