Discover Diamond Springs RV rentals for memorable road trips

Between the big city spread of Sacramento and the massive mountainous forestlands of Eldorado National Forest is the small Northern California town of Diamond Springs. Originally settled in 1848, Diamond Springs is named for the sparkling springs found just outside of the town. The area thrived in the mid to late 1800s during the gold rush due to the high volumes of shiny metals found beneath its surface. In 1851, one of the largest nuggets of gold ever mined in the country was found here, measuring in at a bulky (and valuable) 25 pounds.
