Getting Outdoors

Sprawling across 2,250 acres, there are plenty of opportunities to get out on the waters of Lake Perris. Boating is one of the most popular ways to enjoy the lake. So popular in fact, that the state has restricted the number of boats allowed on the water at one time. As a result, those who are motorhome camping near Lake Perris with their own boat should reserve a spot on the water in advance. For those without their own boat, why not rent one for the day from the marina. The easiest access to the water is from the boat ramp located next to the campground. Once on the water, boaters have a speed restriction of 35 mph, which means plenty of opportunity for waterskiing and wakeboarding.

Camping at Lake Perris

Camping at Lake Perris could not be easier thanks to the large campsite situated at the park’s main entrance. This modern and spacious campsite offers those with an RV rental the choice of over 200 sites.

Exploring the Area

When you camp with an RV at Lake Perris, you will not have to wander too far from the campsite to find the Ya’I Heki’ Regional Museum. Originally built in 1974 as a visitor’s center, the building was later converted into a museum to document the history and culture of the native groups that used to live in California. Open every week from Friday through Sunday; the museum provides a truly educational experience suitable for the whole family.

Fantastic experience with Allison’s van. I did a 3 week road trip around California and the van was perfect. The van is quite new (just like the photos) it feels luxurious inside and drives really well. Allison had the van really well equipped and prepped for my trip - I really appreciate that - and her communication was excellent.
