The Great Outdoors

For a rather unknown area, there’s a lot to enjoy here when you rent an RV, especially if you love the outdoors. Here you'll find a variety of parks, each with unique looks at the area's scenery, wildlife, and biospheres. It wouldn’t be very California if we didn’t start by the water with Michael Vega Park. It's a great spot for wide open space so you can catch that sea breeze while marveling at the sights in every direction. This isn’t the largest park but makes for a nice spot for a seaside picnic. Then you have Manuel Valverde Park where you lose the deep blue for even deeper green grasses. This is a beautiful spot with great trails that will take you on a historical journey as you learn from the park's landmarks. Grab some concessions to stay fueled or just relax in the rose garden. Dos Reis Park provides another beautiful scenic option that grabs a bit of both. You can put a boat in the water here, walk the trails, enjoy some fishing, and much more. This is a quiet spot with BBQ pits and excellent camping opportunities.

RV Parks

When it comes to finding a place to park your Lathrop RV rental for your nightly stay, you'll have a variety of options. Turtle Beach RV Campground in Manteca gives you a scenic and quiet stay with amenities like cable TV and showers. You will just need to drive a bit to restock as this spot is a bit off on its own. Dos Reis Regional Park in Lathrop is, of course, an option if you prefer to keep your trip authentic. Just know you will have to drive for resources so bring your own water.

Explore The City

After you get your fix in nature, there’s plenty more to see to turn your vacation into a fully rounded experience. Set your sights high by starting at Stockton Field Aviation Museum. You can also find family-friendly fun with the gaming and entertainment centers in the area. Relax with the community at one of the many laid-back bars and clubs you can find in the area or head out to one of the many sports complexes and catch a game. You can also refine your palate at one of the many wineries in the area. Keep it laid back with some shopping at The Promenade Shops at Orchard Valley. All before you kick it to high gear with a motorcycle tour. No matter how you let loose, having a camper rental in Lathrop has something to offer everyone along for the ride.

Yujun was great! He explained everything very clearly so that I felt comfortable driving his RV. We had a great weekend and it was the perfect size for the 3 of us! We will definitely do this again some time!

"Winter" is an awesome camper van! We enjoyed taking this well-outfitted and easy-to-drive van on a one week adventure with our 2 dogs. James is very easy-going and very responsive. Winter drives straight, is comfortable for long drives, has plenty of power, and has more than enough storage. The built-in AT&T Wi-Fi was handy, as we have Verizon, and there were times only one of the two would have a connection. Having filtered drinking water on board is golden. We enjoyed Winter so much, we are talking about buying one just like it!
