Sun & Fun RV Park
Sun & Fun is an excellent RV park in Tulare, California. The park also accommodates residents in manufactured homes in the community. Visitors will find a convenient, relaxing oasis in the Central Valley of California. There are 59 RV spaces, five pull-through sites with full hookups. The sites are equipped with 30 and 50 amps, paved patios, and a staff dedicated to the comfort of the residents. Campers are welcome to rent by the day, week, or month. The manufactured homes are also available for rent. The facility has a beautiful swimming pool and spa, that are opened year round. The clubhouse is available, comfortable, and well-equipped. Free Wi-Fi is one of the attractions along with the friendly members of the community. The children in a group will love the playground, their parents will appreciate the laundry, and everyone will feel good about the restrooms as well as the showers. The family dog is welcome, and the canine members will appreciate the dog run.
Sequoia National Park
No where else in the world will you find Earth?s remaining living giants. There are 8,000 sequoia trees and amongst them lives the largest living organism in the world: the General Sherman tree. But there?s so much more to do here than observing beautiful trees. The park has domes, stone canyons, and rivers. You can take part in the astronomy program, soak in the waterfalls and the swimming holes, fish, rock climb, and so much more.
Club Royal Oak RV
Club Royal Oak RV Resort is the most beautiful RV resort in Tulare County and the highest rated riverfront resort of its type in the western United States. The quiet park-like grounds covered in mature shade trees has 94 sites offering 30 and 50 amp electric service, 33 of which are full hookups, 36 riverfront sites with fire rings, 48 pull-through sites large enough to accommodate RV?s with multiple slide outs and some will accommodate the largest Big Rig RV?s with easy pull-through access. They also have 6 additional tent or dry camping sites without electrical service. Club Royal also hosts the annual ?Flat Bottom Boogie? Boat Show and Speed Demonstration. Long term and extended stays are always welcome at Club Royal. Tulare County is centrally located and boasts huge stretches of California?s world famous farms, ranches, and vineyards. There is the Kings River with its seasonal water sports, the annual Blossom Trail, antiquing, and sightseeing.
Cal Expo RV Park
Cal Expo RV Park is located in downtown Sacramento, California, and is a good location for exploring the city, as well as a good base for a day trip into Elk Grove, which just over twelve miles away. The site includes facilities for larger vehicles, such as big rig access and pull-thru sites, and has water, sewer and electric. Pets are welcome here, and there is a dog park, making life a lot easier if you are traveling with your family pet. The site is family friendly and has around 200 units. The American River Bike Trail and Parkway are only a short distance away, so why not bring along some bikes and enjoy some excursions out on this trail, before heading out to explore further afield. When visiting here, it is also worth checking out in advance what is on at Cal Expo, as it can be great to be in town when an event is on.

Blackstone North RV Park
If you are looking to visit central California, then Blackstone North RV Park in Fresno may well be of interest. It is an attractive, moderately-sized park, with space for around 100 units, which offers key amenities such as water, electric and sewer. It has lots of shade, and generous spaces for RVs, with big rig access and pull-thru sites.

Virginia Museum of Transport
Roanoke in Virginia is the home of the Virginia Museum of Transport, and is a fine place to visit whether or not you are a rail enthusiast. When you come here you may get to see the Class J611, the museum?s finest steam locomotive, but do check ahead because this popular engine goes on tour for part of the year.
Alongside the Class J611, the museum is home to about 50 other trains, and you can learn about the importance of the railroad in Virginia?s history here, as well as admire these classic engines. The collection includes steam, diesel and electric locomotives, as well as freight cars, passenger cars, cabooses and other unique rolling stock.
At the Virginia Museum of Transport, you can see their collection of cars and trucks, both vintage and modern, as well as hand and horse-drawn vehicles. The museum is also home to the ?Wings Over Virginia Aviation Collection?.
