Discover Woodland RV rentals for memorable road trips

Known as the county seat for all of Yolo County in California, Woodland is a peaceful, thriving community just outside of Sacramento. Woodland's story doesn’t simply begin with the settlers who built homesteads in the mid-19th century. The Patwin native people occupied the area where Woodland now lies for centuries, clinging to the Sacramento River which helped them sustain life with its life-giving water and fish. In 1851, the building of a general store spurred the town's original growth, later bring hundreds to the town who would, in turn, irrigate the land and create a fertile agricultural hub for Northern California. It is no coincidence that Woodland’s nickname is the “City of Trees”, an indicator of how green and eco-centric the town has become.

We had a wonderful first experience renting our first camper van. The van was easy to drive and we had no issues during our trip. It was nice not to sleep in a tent while camping for the first time. Although there was a lot of information, Sunny helped alleviate any slight anxiety by answering all the questions we had before our trip, during our walk thru, and during delivery. He reviewed the van with us explaining each option that you have to use in the van. Sunny responds timely and his flexibility was extremely helpful to us. We loved that the van came with some amenities as well as one that Sunny offered us when he heard we were boondock camping. We borrowed a 6 gal jug of water which was great to have during our trip. Before packing the van I didn't think there was enough room but this van holds a lot of stuff in the garage section, so that was a welcomed finding.
