The area was first settled by German families moving north from Pennsylvania around 1806, and the village took its name from Breslau in historic Prussia.

The Great Outdoors
A short drive north when you rent a motorhome in Breslau is Luther Marsh, almost 6,000 hectares of lake, wetland, and forests. The area is popular with hikers and bird-watchers thanks to the wide diversity of bird and animal species and the 10.5 miles of hiking trails. Other activities include canoeing and boating on the lake, plus there is a picnic area at the main entrance. Dogs are welcome in the park but must be kept on a leash.

Just over the river on the edge of Kitchener, is the Green Acre Park RV center. This park has 90 fully serviced sites for your luxury RV rental from Breslau and plenty of facilities to keep everyone happy. Along with a heated swimming pool, two hot tubs, and playgrounds, the site also has extensive floral gardens. This nicely laid out campground has large sites, some of which are in shady wooded areas.
Exploring the City
On the edge of Breslau, but on the west bank of the Grand River is Kolb Park. With a lake in the center for fishing and a hiking trail around it, the park is a quiet and relaxing place to visit. Dogs are allowed if kept on a leash, but you will need to bring your own picnic equipment as there are no facilities here.

All the 5 star reviews are warranted. Rented the van in the winter months and had some challenges due to extremely cold weather. Hans was there every step of the way. This was my first camper van experience and it was perfect. Loved that it was only 18’ - you can park it anywhere.
