The Great Outdoors
Directly north and easily reached when you rent a motorhome in New Hamburg is the Conestogo Lake Conservation Area. The Y-shaped lake extends nearly four miles in each of the Y’s arms and provides the area with a range of recreational facilities. Fishing is popular, and the lake is well stocked with brown trout, pike, bass perch and carp, with the current record for pike being a length of 41 inches. Due to its size, the lake is popular with boaters, either sailing or powered. For a more leisurely stay, the large sandy beach is perfect, and swimming is allowed in the lake.

Family owned and operated since the 1960s, the Holiday Beach RV park might just be your dream location when you collect your luxury RV rental from New Hamburg and head here. On the edge of a large lake, and with the campsites nestled amongst the abundant trees, it is a very pretty site. If the heated swimming pool is too small, the lake has a safe swimming area cordoned off with a sandy beach. The kids will find numerous games and activities to keep them busy, plus there are nature trails and regular events.
Exploring the City
Considering its relatively small size, New Hamburg has gained a reputation among car enthusiasts and now hosts the largest Mopar Festival in Canada every August since the first show in 1979. Over the two-day weekend festival, several thousand Mopar vehicles will be brought along to the show for visitors to admire. In addition to the cars, there are events; cruise runs to local car dealerships, prize draws, and music of course. A great day out for anyone that loves cars and being outside.

We had a great first camping trip. We arrived to the trailer all setup and Jon ready to show us around and answered any questions we had.
Everything we needed was in the trailer ready to use including the pop up table for outside, bbq, and zero gravity chairs. The trailer had a power awning, outside led lights, and speakers inside and out that you can control from your phone in a camping chair.
My wife had locked the keys in the trailer at one point in our stay and Jon was quick in under 15 minutes to come out and unlock the door with a spare set.
The trailer was very clean and organized. I would highly recommend booking this trailer with Jon.
