I’m in the process of building out my van, so right now it’s pretty bare, but that hasn’t stopped me from exploring and camping in it! I have everything you need to still have an epic adventure with none of the frills: camping pads with memory foam mattress topper, sleeping bags, pillows, camp stove, cook pots, laptop/cell phone plugs, backpacks, cooler, composting toilet,and everything in between. You’ll get a taste of the real dirtbag life I’ve been living for years, at a fraction of the price of those fancy shmancy built out vans!What's includedI’ve got plenty of backpacks, tents, hammocks, sleeping pads, camp stoves, pots, pans, camp chairs, etc. if you’d like to camp, and even a 10x10’ canopy with string lights for you to set up right outside the side door! For sleeping in the van itself i have a queen size memory foam mattress with fresh linens for you, and plenty of pillows, blankets, and sleeping bags. There is a plug in the van with a power strip for laptops, phone charging, etc. It’s a pretty basic set up, but half the price of a fully built out van!RecommendationsOne of my favorite things to do is go to a beautiful lookout on the Blue Ridge Parkway that has good cell service, tether my laptop to my phone, open the side door, pop up the canopy and set up the chairs, whip out the laptop and get some work done or watch a movie, and crack a bottle of wine. There’s also tons of free parking on forest service roads in Pisgah National Forest where you can do something similar!Other things to noteI’m pretty laid back… just don’t wreck the thing!

While Evans was extremely communicative, there was a multitude of issues and challenges regarding this rental. The van was not delivered as was in the rental agreement and reservation, there very little fuel in the vehicle when I did pick it up, the check engine light, low tire pressure light on. He stated he spent hours cleaning it but it’s labeled as a dog cleaning vehicle and is covered in dog hair, could barely see through the side windows.
