Those of you with an RV rental has the choice between two campsites when camping at Trinidad State Park. With a combined total of 73 sites, you are sure to find a location that suits your needs. Within a short walk of Trinidad Lake, the South Shore campground comprises of ten non-electrical sites complete with there own vault toilets and water taps. All sites have shaded shelters and fire pits. Several of the sites are pull-through, although only one is accessible for people with disabilities. Carpios Ridge Campground is situated on a ridge 150 feet above Trinidad Lake. As the larger of the two, this camp has 63 campsites that accommodate RV’s, trailers and tents. Full hookups are available at seven of the sites, but all sites have 50 amp electrical hookups. The camper service building is open from mid-March to mid-October with coin-operated showers, laundry service, and flushing toilets.
