Shibi is a beautiful, newly renovated 2014 Nissan NV 2500 cargo van. When we found her, she was a tired, beat up work van, and we took her and breathed new life, and a new set of adventures into her! Shibi is a great travel buddy for the beach, the mountains, the valleys, and all else the island has to offer!What's includedWe include the following ammenities:
-Full-sized bed (comfortable sleeps two people 6'0" and under)
-Clean set of linens (sheets, beach towels, blankets, pillowcases, hand towel)
-6 gallons of fresh drinkable water & sink, with grey water tank
-400 watts of solar panels charging a GoalZero Yeti 1500X
-6 110v outlets, with USB and USB outlets as well
-Butane camp stove with butane fuel
-Assorted camping cookware, utensils, mugs, etc.
-Beach towels, and beach mat
-Camp chairs (2)
-TONS of storage
-LED color changing ambient lights
-Backup cameraADD-ONS:
-We offer 8' foam-top surfboards (max 2) for an additional $10/day per board and snorkel & mask sets (2 max) for $5/day per pairRecommendationsWe are PASSIONATE about Hawaii, surfing, and camping. Please contact us, and we would be delighted to provide recommendations regarding things to see, places to camp, etc.We HIGHLY recommend checking out Hipcamp (website or app) for awesome Oahu campsites!Other things to note-ABSOLUTELY no smoking or vaping in or within 20 feet of the van (if doors are open). If there is any evidence at all (burns, odors - strong or faint) we will keep the entire deposit, with no refunds for removing burns and odors.-Default check-in times are 3:00 pm, and check-out is 11:00 am. However, we are usually pretty flexible. Contact us if you need different times, and we will try and work with you!-Only 2 guests are allowed in the van, and they must be the guests listed on the booking-Guests are responsible for any damage to tires while on a trip

James and his Nissan RV are incredible. My wife and I made some of our best memories because of this van experience. James was such a friendly and accommodating host. He gave me great recommendations for touring Oahu including surf locations, food, and entertainment. He also built the van himself and did a fantastic job designing and finishing this rig. From the outside, the van looks like it could be a utility vehicle for a plumber or painter, so it disguises nicely anywhere you go. Local youngsters were impressed to see that we were living in this van that had been parked so conspicuously. The curtains make for a very private and low key experience. The headroom is one of the best parts. There was no need to crouch while inside the van. Even when you’re on the double sized bed, you can sit upright without touching the ceiling. There was also more storage space than we needed. You can fit all your luggage and multiple surfboards and more. Inside the van are all brand new finishes. Natural wood interior with a slick countertop and sink. Underneath the counter, you have easily changeable fresh and gray water tanks. There is also an electric fridge that gets cold quickly. Everything runs off of solar energy. This includes in addition to the fridge, a ceiling fan/exhaust, outlets to charge your devices, dimmable lights, and multicolored party lights. On a sunny day, you’ll enjoy the luxury of these electric amenities with no concern. If there are two or more consecutive cloudy days, you’ll want to conserve your solar energy and park in the sun when you can. The drinks were cold, the bed was comfy, the space was easy to keep clean and organized, and we really had the best time!
