Experience the Sites and Scenery

Florida is an amazing place to take a vacation, with thousands of miles of incredible coastline and arguably some of the world’s nicest beaches. When you rent an RV in Palm Harbor, there are several parks and recreation areas to explore in the immediate vicinity. Caladesi Island State Park is an incredible park off the coast of Florida on one of its many barrier islands. This island is only reachable by boat, so you can take a day visit after you park your Palm Harbor RV rental at a campground of your choice on the mainland. The island park has miles of picturesque walking trails, a marina, a magnificent beach with its own concession stand, and much more. Fishing off the boardwalk, swimming, surfing, or snorkeling are fun ways to enjoy the crystal-clear water of Florida too. Honeymoon Island State Park is connected to the mainland via a causeway, so you can actually drive your Palm Harbor camper rental to visit the park if you want to. The park welcomes over a million people each year, making it easily one of the most visited parks in the state. The park is known for its wealth of natural wildlife, like wild ospreys protecting their young, or pods of dolphins cruising by the island. Snorkeling is a great way to see some tropical fish and exotic coral reef, and don’t forget the park has one of the nicest beaches in the country. There is a nature center that has lots of information about the park’s ecosystem if you are interested in learning a thing or two.

Where to Park It

When you rent an RV in Palm Harbor, lots of campgrounds and RV parks await you. Florida has pleasant sunny weather year-round so it has made a name for itself as a recreational vehicle paradise. Bay Aire RV Park has great views of nature, spacious campsites, and a cozy feel that will make you feel at ease. Caladesi RV Park is less than five minutes' drive from the beach and right in the middle of the city center. You can find everything you need with a short walk from this RV campground.

City Attractions

When you visit any coastal Florida town, no attraction will ever beat the pristine beaches in the Sunshine State, known the world around for their beauty. But if you want to take a break from the sun, you can make your way to several local destinations that can inject excitement into your vacation. Pier 60 in Clearwater is a lovely place to visit, especially at sunset or at night time when it comes to life. Delicious food, a myriad of vendors selling art or other trinkets, and live entertainment are some of the reasons you might want to check out this amazing pier. Clearwater Marine Aquarium is dedicated to restoring and preserving the marine environment. Guests can watch wild animals being rehabilitated at the center and there is a great gift shop for souvenirs.

This was my first time renting an RV and it was the best experience. Mr. Bill answered everyone of my questions and made me feel comfortable. The RV was amazing it had enough room for 10 people me and my family enjoy our trip. I would definitely do it again.

Perfect size, easy to maneuver, very functional. Natasha and Ricky were very thorough in explaining the details, graciously allowed us to pick up the RV early, and allowed us extra time to return it (CAUTION: other bookings may make this impossible--we were fortunate). In addition, we called on Sunday from Ginnie Springs because one of the slides was not functioning, and within a matter of hours Natasha and Ricky had located a service company who came out and fixed the problem.
