2018 Dodge Promaster 3500
2018 Ram Promaster 3500 tall / extended model as the base (6'-0" clear inside height). Van has a 3” lift kit installed, 17” Goodyear KO3 all terrain tires, a hydraulic leveling kit (rear end for uneven sites), and propane tank. The van has 8 solar panels on the roof (1,000 watts total), four lithium-iron batteries (680 watts), a 4,000 watt electrical inverter, a 80 amp solar controller, Extra large refrigerator/freezer, MaxxAir ceiling vent fan (w/remote) and Dometic air conditioner. There are magnetic black-out screens for privacy. The 12 gallon Propane tank supplies the furnace space heater, the hot water heater and the 2 burner gas stove. There is a built in 32” smart T.V. with Apple T.V. and wifi booster. Water system features a 33-gallon water tank and a 3-part "Aqua-Pur" water filtration system for your drinking water (you don't need bottled water with this rental!). Finally, we built in a shower (that doubles as a bathroom stall) with a move-able vented composting toilet and retractable privacy screen.The van is a dream to drive with all the bells and whistles for the ultimate road trip. Awesome and well build van with everything you need. Would definitely rent again. Robert was really helpful, flexible and drove us to the airport after the trip was over.

Robert is wonderful! The fact that he built this van and had lived in it himself shows: from the power & water systems, the kitchen, the storage, the way the interior is set up for a crosswind or AC, and blackout windows for sleeping, every little detail was planned out carefully.

Wowza, what a trip!
This was our first time in a campervan, and our first time renting on outdoorsy. Luckily Robert was super helpful answering questions and accommodating all our requests!
Now about the campervan: It's awesome! everything works like it should, you can tell it's been built well with no expense spared. Drives like new, decent on gas, comfortable as can be! not once during our week use did we wish we had more room or anything not included in our van.
Safe to say we had a great experience and have recommended this van to our friends! Thank you Robert and Outdoorsy!

Easiest drop off/pick point is FTL/Hollywood International Airport; Other airports within a 100 miles can be arranged.
Q.What happens in case of a natural emergency?

In the event that a named storm is beading towards Florida, your reservation will be canceled and your deposit will be refunded. We will work with you to reschedule your trip as soon as possible after the threat of the storm has passed.
