Finding Refuge in Georgia’s Vast Wilderness
Head to the Wassaw National Wildlife Refuge less than an hour’s drive by motorhome rental from Hinesville for a healthy dose of hiking and birdwatching. Seven miles of beach and 20 miles of dirt roads await while several species of wading birds entice visitors to step into this 10,000-acre refuge.
