You’ll find many interesting attractions near Lake Seminole that you could drive your camper to while visiting the area. About two hours away in Valdosta is the Grand Bay Wildlife Management Area. This 13,000-acre swamp is home to an abundant amount of flora and fauna, as well as a large cypress wetland area. Visitors can hike around the grounds, take a canoe out on its waterways, or go geocaching. There’s also an education center that features exhibits that tell more about the local geography and wildlife. In addition to this, it has a 54-foot observation tower and is connected to a half-mile boardwalk.
