Our vans reflect what we love most in life: family, custom design + build, and adventure. We gave the professional path our best shot - Rob in industrial design, Scott in architecture - but felt stuck behind the computer; we wanted to get out, we wanted to work with our hands. When Scott’s daughter Lila came along, he started making wooden toys, and Uncle Bob helped. Toys became furniture, then custom kitchen renovations, and before we knew it, woodworking was our passion. So in 2012, we founded Community Woodshop, an LA-based creative hub where we dream up projects, teach classes, and have helped thousands of people bring their woodworking projects to life.
