Getting Outdoors

As the fishing capital of the state, Milford Lake does exceed all expectations when it comes to fishing here. It’s also what sets Milford Lake apart from the many other lakes in Kansas. Anglers have a variety of fish species to fish for; walleye, wipers, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, spotted bass, blue catfish, channel catfish, and white bass are easily fished here. Should you be a seasoned angler, sign up for one of the fishing tournaments that are held at the lake pretty often throughout the year.

Camping at Milford Lake

Park your RV rental at Milford Lake to enjoy easy access to the lake’s many recreational offerings. Milford State Park has campgrounds with over 140 campsites. Amenities at the campground include pull-thru sites, big rig access, tent camping, full hookups, 30 and 50 amp electric service, water, sewer, a dump station, cell phone coverage, boat ramp, docking areas, fish cleaning stations, and fie rings. Campers have access to restrooms, showers, picnic shelters, and fire grills. Bring your furry friends along to this pet-friendly campground, but keep them on a leash.
