This moderately-sized city is situated near the center of this agricultural state known as Kansas. This region's claim to fame is that it is one of the world's largest producers of wheat. The town is located at the junction of two major thoroughfares, I-70 which transports drivers east and west, and I-135 which treks north and south. Salina is the largest town around the nearby region, with the closest, bigger city being Wichita, at around 90 miles to the south. The large metro area of Kansas City is found almost 200 miles to the east.
