There is just so much to do in the area around Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park. About 20 miles from the park is the city of Paducah that oozes history and culture. 

Start your visit through the city with a stop at the National Quilt Museum. With three galleries of quilt adorning the museum, there is always something new to see at the museum as the exhibits are on a rotation. The museum attracts quilt enthusiasts from around the country. 

The Paducah International Raceway is a clay oval racetrack that hosts several racing events. And if you want to race here, it’s open to the public on Friday nights in the summer.
