Gouldsboro has a small but reliable restaurant scene in case you're starting to feel peckish; the selections include seafood venues, a deli, and one establishment serving Mexican cuisine. One of the seafood joints is located near a pier and has incredible dinnertime views.

Hancock has some good places to shop, such as one boutique that sells sweaters and other items made from Peruvian alpaca wool. There are art galleries and craft stores you can check out, and an art gallery featuring wooden statues that have been carved by chainsaw. Hancock has a small restaurant scene, but it has several seafood venues, a Chinese restaurant, a diner, and several country inns.
