The Westfalia is the perfect camper van option for the family looking for a small footprint camper that sleeps 4 comfortably or the couple who wants a comfortable queen size bed. The van will seat up to 6 comfortably in seat belts with lots of window space for viewing the scenery. Instead of a fixed indoor kitchen we include an extensive outdoor kitchen kit that is stowed under the rear seat and sets up easily to cook a gourmet meal in the outdoors. This van is perfect for mild weather camping and maximizes your time outside.
When it’s time for bed the rear bench seat pulls out to a roomy queen size bed complete with memory foam topper, perfect for mom and dad. The kids can climb up into the canvas tent pop top with full size mattress and sleep in comfort. We include a down comforter with duvet, pillows, sheets and towels for 2 however you can add a second set of bedding for an additional fee.
The kitchen is stowed completely under the back bench seat and includes a roll up table, fold up chairs, cooler, two burner gas stove, 5 gallon water jug, and a box full of kitchen ware that includes just about everything to cook a meal for 4.

New in 2019 we are offering a selection of vans in Phoenix, AZ to explore the southwest (Road Trip Arizona). Our vehicles come stocked with everything you will need for your road trip including bedding, cooking and kitchenware, cleaning supplies, maps, guide books, camp chairs and more. We have an in-house mechanic who maintains our vehicles and gives each vehicle a safety inspection before going out on a trip. This is a safety feature that is not offered with other listings on this site giving you piece of mind for your road trip. Our Portland OR. location is conveniently located 3 miles from the Portland International Airport and just a block from the light rail MAX station making it easy to get to and from the airport or just about anywhere in Portland. Our Phoenix location, is located at 5346 N. 91st ave in Glendale AZ about 20 minutes from Sky Harbor.

Our normal pick up time is 11am however special arrangements can be made to pick up anytime between 9am - 5 pm subject to availability. Please confirm a pick up time at least one week before your rental and make sure to let us know if you are going to be early or late. Rentals are based on a 24 hr rental period meaning the pick up and drop off times are the same. It is possible to extend your drop off time however we charge extra in 1/2 day increments.

No issues with the van, Harlan was a great coordinator! My only piece of feedback would be to service the vans before renting them out - our van started alerting for an oil service about a day into the trip, towards the end of the trip it got pretty annoying. Besides that we had a great time and look forward to renting with RTO again soon!
