Both parks are about a half hour’s drive from Washington Township. Another fairly close park is the Emmett KOA, forty minutes away near Interstate 69. The park has full hookups, a pond for fishing, bike rentals, and even a mini-golf course.

The nearest Walmart to Washington Township is in Shelby, around ten minutes to the south. If you need a place to stay for a couple of nights and don’t want to drive to some of the more distant RV parks, this is an option. It’s also a good place to stock up on supplies and anything you might have forgotten from home. To fuel up your Washington Township RV rental, you’ll want to swing by the Love’s travel stop on Interstate 69, as it’s one of the only nearby truck stops and the larger bays at the fuel pumps will make things much easier.

The best shopping near Washington Township can be found at the Mall at Partridge Creek. The open-air shopping center has over a hundred stores including most of the brands you would expect. There’s even a fourteen-screen movie theater to relax in once your feet have had enough of the retail therapy experience.
