Getting Outside near Washington Township
Stony Creek Metropark is one of Washington Township’s most popular places to enjoy nature. The 4,500-acre park is centered on Stony Creek Lake, which is frequented by swimmers and non-motorized boaters during the warmer months. A private company offers kayaks, canoes, and paddleboats. But if you’re after more of an adrenaline rush, try the local adventure park for a zip line and obstacle course experience.

Northpointe Shores RV Resort is one of the closest dedicated RV parks to Washington and is right next to Lake St. Clair.
