Located in the northeastern edge of the Magnolia State lies the cozy town of Tupelo. The town was named after the numerous tupelo trees that grow in the area and is known for its humid climate. While it might seem like a quiet Southern town, Tupelo, MS is a very historic site.

The city was once the spot of an important Civil War battle which you are able to learn more at with a visit to the Tupelo National Battlefield. In 1936, it was once almost completely destroyed due to a powerful tornado. However, Tupelo is best known for being the hometown of iconic singer Elvis Presley.

The town of New Albany is around 30 miles to the southeast. Fulton lies less than 25 miles away to the east.
