RV rental Linear Park, NY: Motorhome rentals, camper van rentals and more

In addition to hiking, renting a camper near Linear Park means you'll have a chance to enjoy a nice outdoor lunch using the park's picnic pavilion and grill. If your lunch is already prepared when you arrive, the picnic area has an exceptional view looking towards Irondequoit Creek. Although it's a city park, the plentiful tree stands and flowing creeks help to create a peaceful and relaxing environment further amplified by the wide-open sky above. There are bathroom facilities on-site, and parking is available when you arrive. You can use your Rochester camper rental to visit other nearby attractions; there is a working farm that is open to the public and has some attractions in addition to the farm produce they grow and sell. Kids will have a heyday with the corn maze and corn pit, the hand-crafted barrel horses, antique tractor ride, and apple cannons (some adults may find these amusing too). If you feel the urge to get a round of golf in, there are more than a half-dozen golf courses in the area you can try out. Camping in an RV rental near Channing H. Philbrick Park will put you in proximity to several more urban parks you can enjoy, including two which are located on Irondequoit Bay; Abraham Lincoln Park is the largest of the two, and it has a playground constructed entirely from logs. At the far end of the bay, there is an amusement park that was originally built in 1879 and is still operating today; it has a roller coaster, water rides, and a food concession stand. Along the coastline, you'll find the Charlotte Genesee Lighthouse, which was built in 1822 and has an attached museum; if you'd like to see an outdoor space that is undeveloped and undisturbed, Braddock Bay Wildlife Management Area offers a chance to enjoy wildlife observation, canoeing, and kayaking.
