Belews Lake is a North Carolina man-made reservoir formed in 1973 by the construction of a dam across the Belews Creek. The reservoir was built to supply cooling water for the Belews Creek Steam Station coal-fired power station but has now become a popular recreational area with two marinas. Covering nearly 4,000-acres and with a shoreline of over 85-miles, there is plenty of space to get out and enjoy yourself.

My wife and I are considering buying a travel trailer, but we have no experience. We rented this little gem to see what it's like, and we had a blast! The owner dropped the camper off at our campsite, hooked everything up, and gave us a complete walk-through. The kitchen and bathroom are great, and the bed was super comfortable to sleep in (two small dogs included). At the end of the trip, we headed home, and the owner picked up the camper--extremely convenient and hassle-free. We're hooked now and will probably buy a travel trailer of our own. Thanks to our hosts for making the rental SO easy!

The experience could not have been better. Pickup/orientation and drop off were seamless. Brendon was helpful and very responsive. The van was very comfortable and had everything we needed and we were surprised at how well it drove - it fit into a standard parking spot and drove as smoothly as any SUV.
